I just finished my first little batch of 18th century hair ornaments. I'm going to have a hard time giving up the big black and burgundy one, but momma needs to go to Costume College (or pay off some debts.. or buy groceries...)

my stays fit perfectly! The downside is that I will have to take them in soon, as they close front and back.

Some work must be done on the chemise, though. The neckhole has Issues. Thinking maybe some pintucks in the front to gather up some of the excess fabric.

Perfect timing! I just received this 16" wide embroidered net vintage trim in the mail and I need to start work on my chemise tonight.
